  19. When using Direct Sound Capture, the only valid format is PCM. If you require a different format, then you must disable Direct Sound via the Setup dialog, restart the program, and then record using Waveform Audio.

  21. Invalid Direct Sound Capture recording format ! Some drivers only allow a restricted set of recording frequencies & sizes.  You might have to experminent : 22Khz 16-bit Stereo is a good starting point : consult your soundcard vendor for more details.
